Meet Your Captain

A lifetime of fishing knowlege from offshore Alaska to the lakes and rivers of Washington.

Paul grew up in Western Washington but fished all over the state.  After graduating high school, he ventured to Sitka, Alaska and studied science and fisheries at Sheldon Jackson College.  One week after graduation, in 1986, Paul was on a commercial fishing boat plying the ocean for Halibut and salmon.  In 1992 he started guiding out of Sitka with his brother Mike.  After 30 years Paul retired from the ocean guiding but he still commercial fishes for Black cod in the Winter and Fall.
Paul now sees opportunities on Lake Chelan and in the Upper Columbia River area to continue his career in guiding for sport fish.  He looks forward to introducing new clients, and some of his old ones, to the beauty and bounty of God’s creation in his little corner of the World.

"My buddy and I fished with Paul in June, 2023. This was my first time out with Paul, and I had a great time. The setting of Lake Chelan is absolutely beautiful and was added to by having both Kokanee and Chinook salmon available to catch. And catch we did. Paul provides all the gear needed and the expertise to use it. Friendly, professional, and helpful.Go fish with Paul for a great experience"
